INGREDIENTS

Filling :

750ml dessicated coconut

125ml cream of wheat

500ml klim

60ml ghee

125ml chopped almonds

125ml cardamon

1 tin condensed milk

Braise cream of wheat in ghee till golden. Add coconut and stir.

Remove from heat, add balance of ingredients. Mould into balls and flatten.

Set aside.

DOUGH  

500ml cake flour

20ml ghee

±250ml milk

METHOD 

Rub ghee into flour. Add suffincident milk and mix to a soft dough.

Roll rounds of puris, add the filling and pat into shape. Fry slowly in oil till paste hardens.

Dip ghari in glace icing while it is hot or in melted holsum.
