12 chicken drumsticks, skinned
2 tbs lemon juice
3 beetroot, peeled and finely grated salt to taste (± 2 ½ tsp) i cup yogurt
½ cup cream
2 tbs garlic paste
1 tbs ginger paste
2 tsp roasted and ground shah jeera (caraway)
2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp coarse black pepper ghee or butter

Make incisions on the drumsticks and rub in lemon juice, beetroot and salt. Refrigerate for a
few hours
Mix the rest of the ingredients and marinate drumsticks for two hours
Roast in oven or braai, basting with ghee or butter
