Butternut Braised (With Video)
500g Butternut (Chopped in Cubes)
50ml Cooking Oil
1 Onion (Chopped)
1 teaspoon Mustard Seeds
1 teaspoon Jeera Seeds
4 x Dry Chillies
1 teaspoon Rough Salt
1 teaspoon Sugar
Heat the oil in a pot.
Add chopped onion, mustard seeds, jeera seeds, dry chillies.
Fry for 2 minutes then add butternut, salt, sugar and curry leaves.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes then add the water.
Mix well and cook for 20 to 25 minutes on medium heat.
